Nicole S. Shepter, Esq.
Nicole began her career as a public defender in New York City in one of the busiest courthouses in the country. She represented clients charged with everything from the most minor infractions to serious felonies, and gained substantial courtroom and trial experience. She later transitioned to plaintiff’s employment litigation, and has represented employees in state and federal courts in Connecticut and California. Nicole also has significant experience in representing businesses in both transactional matters and disputes that end up in court. Nicole also has experience in estate planning and landlord-tenant disputes.
While in law school, Nicole served as the Managing Editor of the Tulane Journal of International and Comparative Law. She was also very involved with Moot Court - not surprising, as her practice has always focused on litigation - and participated with and coached several trial teams. Nicole was also invited to participate in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot held in Vienna, Austria.
